Dovedale Cottage is slightly smaller than Ostlers End but offers the same standard of interior design and quality furnishings. Many of our regular guest book both cottages together and use Ostlers as a base for meals and an evening get together.
Downstairs is a comfortable spacious lounge. It is decorated to a high standard comprising of wooden flooring, leather sofas, traditional wooden furniture, exposed wooden beams and a log burning fire. With a roaring fire, tv, video and cd player, where else better to relax in the evening.
Dovedale’s kitchen is well laid out with beautiful solid wood units, open shelves and exposed beams offering charming character. Fully equipped to a high standard the kitchen has heated terracotta floor tiles and a farmhouse table with 4 chairs and a pine settle. Outside there is a small garden area with garden furniture - ideal for barbecues and safe for children.
This cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and the other with a four poster. The 3rd bedroom has 2 adult size single beds.
The master bedroom has spectacular views across open countryside. On the first floor is a separate WC and family bathroom with a luxury spa bath - an ideal way to indulge yourself with a long soak after a hard day rambling.
